Matthew Chambers
A life long Oxford resident, Matthew has a history of volunteering and advocacy in his community. Matthew is a regular volunteer at Stich Supper Club in Ingersoll and is also a member of the Zorra Caledonian Society and Royal Canadian Legion Branch 119. Matthew holds a 3rd degree Black in Karate and teaches in Thamesford.
Matthew has a strong working class background and works as a Custodian for Thames Valley District School Board and is a proud member of CUPE 4222.
Matthew is an experienced campaigner, serving as the NDP Candidate for Oxford in both the 2019 and 2021 general elections.
Matthew is dedicated to providing a strong alternative for voters in Oxford.

NDP Leader Don Davies introduces bill to end unpaid work for flight attendants
On Tuesday, NDP leader Don Davies and NDP labour critic Alexandre Boulerice stood alongside Canadian Union of Public Employees 4091 President Natasha Stea and called on the government to end unpaid work for flight attendants. This followed Davies introducing legislation in the House earlier in the day to ban this practice.
